Goals for 2007

Now that Change Tomorrow is an official club on Monrovia High School’s campus, we have a lot of plans and goals for the 2007/2008 school year.

1. We want to have two Liveearth/Live8 type of concerts to raise money and awareness.
2. We want to start a full recycling center at Monrovia High School that will enable us to recycle paper, plastics and aluminum.
3. We want to try to find grants that can be used to make our school energy efficient.
4. We want to sell shirts and pass out fliers to educate others.
5. We want to have a major activity on Earth Day (we’re still working on the details).
6. We want to make a video about global warming and other environmental disasters to play at the assemblies at school.
7. Convince the city of Monrovia to be more proactive in their stance on climate change.
8. Donate all proceeds to an environmental cause.
9. Convince people that they can make a diference and the time to do so is now.
